St. John of the Cross is a doctor of the Church and one of the great mystics of the Catholic tradition. Living in 16th century Spain, his works have endured as a beautiful testimony to the relationship possible between Christ and the Soul. Now, on the feast day of his good friend St. Teresa of Avila, discover for yourself a brief glimpse of the riches that St. John of the Cross’s theology can offer to all who seek greater intimacy with Christ.

This reflection will be given by Deacon David Etters of St. John the Evangelist parish here in Jackson, MI. There will be time for discussion and questions during the afternoon as well. The event will be held at Chesterton Academy of St. George: 1000 E Porter St, Jackson MI 49202.
