Aquinas and the Eucharist: Transubstantiation - A Lecture Event

  • 1000 E Porter St Jackson, MI 49202 (map)

Join us for the second lecture in our Aquinas and the Eucharist series entitled “Transubstantiation: a Fancy Word for an Important Truth”

You may have heard of St. Thomas Aquinas and thought his teachings were just for intellectuals, but in fact his insights into the Most Blessed Sacrament are a gift for all Catholics seeking a deeper relationship with Our Lord and greater purpose in life.

This fall, the St. George Foundation for the Classics is happy to present this lecture series on St. Thomas Aquinas's teaching on the Sacrament of the Eucharist in the spirit of the National Eucharistic Revival. Presented by Mr. Matthew Anderson, the Headmaster of the Chesterton Academy of St. George, each evening will include an exposition of St. Thomas's teaching followed by time for q & a and Eucharistic adoration.

Each lecture will be held at 1000 E Porter St, Jackson MI 49202 starting at 6:30 pm.

No need to have attended the first lecture; each one stands alone. Mark your calendar now for the third and final installment - “The Transforming Power of the Eucharist” on Monday November 13th. Call 517 295 3735 for more information.
